life highlights and quarantine fun (January – April)

Despite quarantine, life has been happening since our last update. Keep reading for our highlights from 2020 so far– both big and small!

What a roller-coaster year this has turned out to be! But somehow, when we stop to think about it, there are still so many great memories packed in!

β€œEvery day may not be good…
but there’s something good in every day.”

~ Alice Morse Earle

We went book shopping right after New Years, which is the best beginning to a year ever!

Pearl, our brother, and the little girls went to a Gray Havens concert, and they got to meet them and Asher Peterson!

Anna started her first semester of taking classes while also working at the campus library… (One day Chickfila angels brought me lunch!! ~A)

Church choir started back up which is always such fun!

Anna and her AWANA Cubbies climbed the wall and went bowling at the place nextdoor!

Pearl and Princess M stayed over at our oldest sister’s house and had a girls’ movie night.

Anna went on a Christian Challenge camp trip. It was a cold and super awesome time!

Our whole family volunteered multiple times to help the community get fruit/vegetables on a low budget.

Pearl got her permit! YAY!!

Anna and the older siblings attended a Valentine’s Day banquet with college friends, and also chocolate was eaten by all. XD

Our washer broke and many laundromat (family of 9) adventures followed! πŸ˜› You Instagram followers seemed to enjoy as we posted the saga. lol

We played at the park with some church friends, and it was so hot that day we bought a carton of ice cream for the ride home! (no van AC, yipee!)

Lots of Bible Study and hanging with college friends for Anna…

Friends&God provided weeks of groceries for our family of 9 during financial hardship. Definitely a big blessing. ❀

So much blogging together of course!! Vlogs and Insta posts too, featuring Bee and Princess M more often!

AND we ordered cool decals of our Latte logo!!!

Anna was asked to be her friend’s bridesmaid! (The celebrations had to suddenly be postponed because of lockdown, but we got to enjoy pictures of the happy couple on their wedding day! ❀ )

Then quarantine started…

Here are a few things we’ve been up to.

Pearl has been drawing and experimenting with different art mediums!

Anna and our brother got bikes and have been exploring all over.

We bought tons of sidewalk chalk and wrote/drew things to brighten our neighborhood!

Anna’s college is gathering digitally for weekly Bible studies, and also fun Zoom hangouts and phone calls for hours…

We drew a calendar right on a wall and are planning posts with it!

A BBC Emma binge and Marvel binge. (That Cap/hammer scene is still crazy epic.)

We got to hang out with our oldest sister’s family from a distance!

Anna and a friend did homework and watched a movie 6 feet apart on the front porch. πŸ˜€

Pearl started a blog for artists AND AN INSTA for posting her own art!!

And we’re enjoying just chilling together and doing our daily things side by side!

We hope you enjoyed this small peek into our lives! God is good, ya’ll.

What have you been doing during quarantine? What is the first thing you’ll do when it’s over?

    1. It is seriously the best!! Each actor portrays the characters with such depth and liveliness and Knightly is ug so good and the setting/costumes dreamy… i love it to pieces. πŸ˜‚πŸ™ˆ

  4. I love this post! And yOU GOT TO MEET ASHER PETERSON? *glares in the direction of said Peterson* I went to a GH concert last year and he didn’t even come out after the show. Now he’s (unhelpfully) nonexistent at the N!OBE readalong.

  5. Fun post!!! I’m so glad ya’ll have been doing well. πŸ™‚ I’ve been doing school (almost done, yay!), and taking lots of bike rides and walks with my family. Actually, where I live the businesses and other stores started opening up yesterday, so hopefully we’ll be able to get out and do something fun today for a change.

Ps. I noticed you got your stickers from Sticker Mule; do you like that company and are they easy to work with?

Thanks! I’m excited!! Can’t wait to see you there! πŸ˜‰
To answer your question: We’ve ordered once from Sticker Mule and they were amazing to work with! They also run a lot of steep deals, so it’s smart to follow their newsletter or something.
